ODT 10 - Elwha River West (Temporary, on-road, Route)

This segment of ODT starts with a crossing of the Elwha River on a new 586 ft trail bridge suspended 70 ft above the river underneath the auto deck. West from the bridge the right of way for the permanent trail is in the process of being acquired, but construction is several years away. A temporary on-road route is shown for bicyclists wishing to continue west to Lake Crescent or the Pacific. The temporary route follows Elwha River Rd west to State Hwy 112, and then follows Hwy 112 west to Ramapo Rd, continuing on Hwy 112 on the ODT 11 segment map.
