Near Port Townsend

Fort Worden Beach and Upper Campground. 80 sites. Open year round. Excellent views, flat spots with lots of RV space. Group camping and lodging can be arranged. Call 360-385-3595 for details. They have hiker/biker sites.

Fort Townsend. Has 40 reservable campsites. 4 primitive hiker/biker sites (first come, first served). Group camping is available for up to 80 people. Call 360-385-3595 for details.

Near Sequim

Sequim Bay State Park, 60 tent spaces and 16 utility spaces with a few spots that can accommodate RVs up to 45 ft. Group camping available. Park is right on the Olympic Discovery Trail with nearly 1 mile of saltwater coastal frontage. Open year round, but some sites closed in winter. Hiker and biker sites available.

Dungeness Recreation Area. 216 acres with 67 campsites. No hookups for water or electricity, but water is available. Open February 1 - September 30 each year. Group picnic area is available. Hiker/biker sites available.

Near Port Angeles

Heart O' the Hills part of Olympic National Park. First leg of the trip up to beautiful Hurricane Ridge. Open year round, no more than 21 ft RV recommended. 105 sites available. It is a 1400 ft, 17 mile climb from Port Angeles to the end of the road at Hurricane Ridge. The road has no shoulder. No biker/hiker sites.

Fairholme on the west side of Lake Crescent. 88 spots. No more than 21 ft RVs recommended. Open April to mid fall. Campground is on Hwy 101, not on the Olympic Discovery Trail or Spruce Railroad grade.

Elwha open year round, but primitive in winter. 40 spots. Not recommended for RVs more than 21 ft.

Deer Park tents only. 14 spots.

Salt Creek. 196 acre park along the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Crescent Bay. 90 sites, most with water views. 39 sites have water and hookups. Open year round.

Camp David Jr. is a group camping site that can accommodate 100 people. Open from February through April, September through November. During the summer the camp is used by youth groups. By reservation only through Clallam County Parks.

Sol Duc open year round. 50 sites with running water in summer and flush toilets. RVs no more than 21 ft recommended. Located in old growth forest along the Sol Duc River. It's a 900 ft climb from Hwy 101 to the campground with no shoulder and no biker/hiker campsites.

KOA Campground. Spaces for tents and bikes. Can arrange to accommodate a group tent. Also has RV spots plus cabins for rent. Location is not easy for access to the ODT. 300 ft climb from Hwy 101 to campground.

Mora Campground. Near La Push and on the way to Rialto Beach. Open year round. 94 sites, one walk in site. No group sites. Campground is between river and pond and close to rugged Rialto beach.

Bear Creek Campground. 10 sites. Call 360-374-6131 for details.

Klahowya Campground. 55 sites. Flush toilets and potable water. Note: 20 miles from here to Forks by Hwy 101.
